Videos and presentations from «Let’s talk about mental health»

Between 11th and 13th of May 2020, Erasmus+: Aktiv Ungdom (together with Vestfold and Telemark County and the University of South-Eastern Norway) was supposed to host an international seminar called Let’s Talk About Mental Health. Then, suddenly Corona came, and the seminar had to be cancelled.

The team felt disappointed to lose all the work invested and all the interesting speakers we had gotten hold of, and we had a strong feeling that mental health and well-being could be an even more relevant topic for youth workers now that most of Europe was in lock-down. So we decided to host the seminar anyway, but online.

The interest for the seminar was huge, and we ended up with 81 participants from 32 countries spending 3 days together online. In order to share what we learnt from the seminar with a wider audience, we decided to record our plenary Zoom sessions. You can find recordings of the main speakers listed under. The quality of Zoom recordings is inconstant (sound is great, picture varies from non-existing through blurry to ok), so we will also share the presentations of the presenters with you so that you are able to read everything.

We were also working a lot in groups in break-out rooms. These sessions could not be filmed, but provided a very fruitful environment for reflections on the input and sharing of own practice.
